AVG AnitVirus great little antivirus program catches more viruses than some of the bigger name antivirus programs best of all its FREE!! Program is Free ALL Updates are also Free. All paid versions of "other brands" has the user pay for a subscription usually a 1 year period, this is good but once that subscription is up the user has no more "updates". Windows Defender:
This is the ONLY Microsoft program we like to recommend not only becasue its FREE!!! but it does work well, it helps protect from SPYWARE / ADWARE. Usually it is best to run 2 AntiSpyware programs, the only other way is to use a Modem/Router with Firewall built in
SpyBot - Search & Destroy: detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. PDF Reader:
This is very important software to have these days lots of files are now .pdf (Portable Document Format. Adobe Reader is the best known but also the BIGGEST program of them all, We like to get our clients using a smaller program (means less room on your computer)called Foxit ask us info@sidewinderpc.com.au
